my special cooperative agent in Alaska sent me these photos that she took. Here's what she had to say about the situation:

"so so very very fucked up... This was a two year old female Kodiak Grizzly Bear who was shot three weeks ago while attempting to break into a house through a dog door. At the time she was shot she had her head through the door. Unfortunately when bears began to compromise the safety of people and property they tend to be blown away by huge shot guns. As for the blond broad wearing the camo-super-slut outfit she is native to Florida and has been river guiding for the last twenty years here on Kodiak while murdering grizzly bears for fun on the side. At the time of this photo the weather was blowing north west at a steady 55 with a temp of 40 degrees and heavy rain, dare I say hardly "tank top" weather. My thoughts remains that the bitch should take her fake tits and fucked up fetish of skinning animals else where and leave these intensely magical creatures to the island that was theirs way before she bought a one way ticket the land of the mid night sun. What a twat."

in WILKES COUNTY, N.C., a backyard angler bagged the state’s record channel catfish using a 2½-foot hot pink Barbie Doll rod and reel.

David Hayes caught the record-breaking fish from a private pond while fishing early this month with his granddaughter, Alyssa, 3. The 21-pound, 1-ounce catfish measured 32 inches long — 2 inches longer than the Barbie Doll fishing pole.

“After catching two or three bluegill, Alyssa turns to me and says: ‘Papa, I’ve got to go to the bathroom. Hold my fishing rod,’” Hayes was quoted as saying in a news release from the state Wildlife Resources Commission.

“A few minutes later, the float went under, and I saw the water start boiling up — I knew right then that I had my hands full with that fishing rod.”

It took Hayes about 25 minutes to land the fish, which measured 22½ inches in girth. Hayes said that once he got it to the bank, he was pretty certain his channel cat would exceed the previous state record, an 18-pound, 5-ounce fish caught in August 2007.

The rather shocking photo attached snapped in November 16th of last year by a spectator at the collegiate power lifting championships at Penn State. The unfortunate competitor, who expressed a plea to remain anonymous, remembered to surgeons that he was " stuck" at the bottom of a personal best attempt in the squat lift when he "sort of pulled his stomach in and pushed extra hard, at the same time as trying to complete the lift."
He remembers a loud popping, splattering noise then a fierce stabbing pain and then not being able to move from the squat position. He remained in this position for about half an hour, since trying to stand caused him overwhelming agonizing pain. Paramedics arrived and applied anesthesia on the spot and carried him to an ambulance. He was rushed to surgery, where surgeons described the trauma as an explosive and aggravated prolapse of the bowel". Meanwhile it was revealed that the weight was removed from his shoulders at the time of the incident by two "spotters" on either side of the lifter. The third spotter who was standing behind the lifter was unfortunately sprayed with fecal matter at the time of the incident. This spotter promptly fainted when he realized the extent of of the injury to the lifter, who was a personal friend.
This compounded the task of first aid officers who were at a loss as to how to treat the injury to the lifter in any case, who remained in the squatting position moaning in pain much to the consternation of the helpless audience. The hapless lifter had successful surgery to relieve the prolapse, but remained immobilized with his feet elevated in stirrups for 2 weeks to ensure "internal compliance with the surgery and that the organs retracted successfully".
To add insult to injury, the ex-lifter required rectal stitching to partially occlude the anal orifice and stitch the rectal passage (which had significantly expanded and torn during the prolapse) and also was put on a low fiber low residue diet to combat flatulence to avoid any possibility of a recurrence.

On wednesday, July 30th, Ryan, Mr. P and I set out on a skate/camping trip to the Olympic Penninsula. I'm finally skating again after 3.5 months of injury related suck. F-ing stoked!!! It's funny, we were only gone until late last night, but we covered some serious milage. Thanks for driving Ryan!!

Our route was across Whidbey island to the keystone ferry were we had a little down time waiting for the boat.

We made our way straight to the Port Angeles park. O gosh that place is heaven. After a short session we headed to a place of business to squat, camp and cook some weiners.

Next day we awoke to a overcast sky. We bustled to meet my parents for breakfast and then off to hit up Port Angeles again. We arrived to rain, so we made some coffee out of Ryan's truck and kicked my soccer ball around. The skys showed no signs of letting up so we went to our back up plans.............

After a little skate action, we headed back to Port Angeles to scope the park but it was still pissing. I called a informant in Seattle to get a weather report and it didn't look promising so we packed up our belongings and headed to the city! When we arrived it was pouring here as well, but as i rubbed the sleep from my eyes in the morning, sun! We ralied the troops and were off to park near Spannaway.













these pics are funny cause when i shot them, the park was teaming over with kids. somehow no lurkers are in the shot.


After a session, we bailed out to hit a park in Milton. We showed up at dusk. B.J. and Ryan skated the back of the clamshell the whole time.
