got a little sumtin together. footage is from the last couple weeks. kinda randumb stuff. skated the sweet new indoor last night and sumhow skated a unheard-of/backwoods indoor ramp up in ferndale tonight, thats rad as jelly. not sure how i never heard of this one, or anyone, for that matter, but it was a blast and i'm glad to have duders digits.

I have been skating and hanging out with ryan for a good 9 or ten years now? When we first met, Bellingham had finally gotten a park. I had been living here at that point for 4 years or so, so it was a big fuckin deal. Anyways, when the park opened there were fun, heated sessions non-stop for pretty much a couple years. Maybe the first or second day the park was open i ended up breaking my wrist. I was livin in my van at the time. I had just met ryan a couple hours? earlier, but he ended up takin me to the hospital and givin me a place to stay. I ended up sleepin in there parking lot for quite sum time.. Anyways if you know ryan you know how natural he is.

Another note. i have shot more photos and have more photos of my friend than anyone. i owe him a lot for lettin me point my camera at him for the last ten years, in which iv'e learned so much. Sumtimes i go back and look at old stuff i printed back then and it's still the best ever and i have so much of it. thanks buddy. yer a inspiration.





the board he is riding in this photo, i got at a garage sale on the side of the hwy. on the way to stevens pass in Washington. It had handlebars that mounted on the front truck and the graphic was 'barbie and the rockers'. It was 2 bucks, bought it, took the handlebars off, put sum spitfire classics and sum new bearings and it was a rad grocery getter. ryan, on the other hand, would just air big hips instead.

is a rad kid. in fact, i didn't even really know he was so young until the other day. He's always down to hype up the sesh and always hypin up gettin clips, but for sum reason or another it usually doesn't pan out. this day was an exception. Here are a few photos from a spot that has been there forever, but always gets looked over. Eli brought it back and got a sick arse photo (to be seen later) and sum clips at a neighboring joint. way to go wet lipz. you finally came through.

photowize. The weather has set back in this last week. after a so far super mild winter, with plenty of dry days, the cold and precipitation are back. With that comes the stirring and pacing and the wunders of where skateboarding can possibly happen in the northwest corner of the united states of america. But being the addicts we are, we always seem to find something or sumhow? to fuel what fuels us. Anyways all of these photos are from yesterday, with the exception of a few from a trip last week to Oak Harbor. the new oak harbor park again. Seamus and i had the luxury of riding in ryan's lady's new economic (40 mpg?) honda wonder. Thanx for driving my friend. Alex dissapeared 5 minutes after we got there, never to be seen again until we were back at my house in Bellingham? And the local groms did there best to be in the way unknowingly as usual, although you can't complain when theres only a few of you actually skating a brand new perfect park. On another note, b.j. and jihad get mvp's of the trip even though they didn't skate. They drove all the way up and out to the island from Seattle, only to get rained out 5 miles from the park. We met up with them at a gas station for sum high-fives and shakas and they hopped in the car straight back to Seattle. you guys are my good pals for a reason.

so i'm ordering shurtz this week and will hopefully have the first run of MANATEE shirts done by next week sumtime. There gonna go quick so get one while there around. All the profit i make though, i'm going to be recycling into making more, baseball style shirts and even sum zip ups (hopeful thinking). been goin thru the hundreds of photo-files i got here on my over-congested stupid box and came across about ten photos id like to post. better strech em out though, cause these recollective occations are rare. these photos are from a warm day in may last spring. we went to check out this bar, which is pretty much unskatesble. There is a bar (the drinkin kind) right out front. It was probably 3 in the afternoon and these two hags stumbled out, completely loaded. The one started changing her pantz and they took quite sum pride in the ordeal. I think they thought we were hyped to see a little 50 year old haggard skin?



Anyways seamus got a trick amongst all the cougar spray.

after a few hours of wishy-washy weather and trying to decide whether or not to just drive to the oak harbor park i bagged that idear. Next thought? Gather the troops and go skate the purfect ramp at takuya waters crib. After many calls and a whole lot of "were over it for the day", things came together, i got the crew together and we were off to go skate. This edit is short and was all filmed within the last 30 minutes outta the 4 hours we were there. I never held my camera as i was to jazzed to pick it up, but you can credit the videography to the gingerturd and eli. thats why we keep them in frunt of the lens, not behind it. anyways, hers a couple clips from tonight. the fakie 5-0 slam crushed my ribs. no bueno. good night.
